Artist Romain DOREZ

" Passionate about art from an early age, Romain Dorez has a passion for drawing, painting and more particularly the geek world and pop culture. After 4 years of higher education at the Faculty of Arts in Amiens, he pursued his favorite path, and created the Comixart collective with a friend. His inspiration draws from the cartoons of his childhood, science fiction films, series and comics that he worked to copy from his earliest days. young age... Contemporary artists also fuel his work, notably Speedy Graphito, Jérôme Clem and Johanne8. He favors painting to expose his ideas and explode pop colors. His works convey messages that are dear to him, messages imbued with humor. to address more or less obscure themes: sexual freedom, junk food, the psychological impact of social networks, the preservation of the planet... His characters from geek culture play the role of medium of his ideas.
