Born in Haute-Marne, Dominique Kennel has lived in Paris, Fontainebleau, Chaumont and now near Langres.
The artist has exhibited in dozens of different venues, including galleries in Sélestat, Colmar, Ravières near Auxerre, Langres and Dijon, as well as at numerous art events.
He paints while listening to music. He is influenced by many things, including tribal art, pre-Columbian art, the Renaissance, Cubism, comic books, Ravel and Debussy, rock music, cinema, current events, literature, Japan, and more.
He works every day in search of new horizons, new forms and new colours.
