Artiste Patrick MARTIN

The great diversity of human cultures is the most beautiful of riches... Painting them is one of the most beautiful artistic adventures. I explore what a face says, what is seen, but also what is not seen. The painting then acts as a revealer and the emotion is always there." Originally from Seine et Marne, the artist now lives in Ille-et-Vilaine. From his training at the Corvisart School (Paris), he retained a taste for visual representation and layout. He naturally moved towards the world of communication by starting a career as an Artistic Director within several advertising agencies and then created his own agency with which he has been creating, for over 20 years now, creative concepts for large groups. Always in search of artistic emotions, Patrick today leads a career as a painter, thus offering himself new creative fields while allowing him to rediscover the very essence of pictorial expression.
